From there, proceed to the Research Institute of Tibetology, one of the most important places in Gangtok. Also known as Namgyal Institute of Tibetology the museum helps you get detailed insights into the spirit, culture and essence of the land. Next attraction of the day is Do Drul Chorten – a magnificent stupa in Gangtok. Perched on a hill, the gompa is highly revered by the Buddhists. The golden dome of the stupa steals the limelight and 108 prayer wheels around the gompa cast a spell. From here proceed towards Enchey monastery. Belonging to the Nyingma order of Vajrayana Buddhism, the gompa dates back to 1909. Several murals, auspicious Buddhist symbols and wheel of law are skilfully displayed here.

On day 4, you will delight in an outing to Kalimpong. Satiate your hunger and cherish a road trip to Deolo Hill.
